Generic Vs Branded QR codes

Carnaby Street in London are using new colour branded QR Code designs which are proving to be a huge success. Latest results show that branded codes have already increased the hit rate to carnaby.co.uk by 258% since its launch at the beginning of May 2011.

Carnaby, one of London's leading shopping destinations for fashion and lifestyle have noticed a positive spike in visits to their site carnaby.co.uk directly attributed to the tracking system written into its code, proving the consumer is noticing colourded qr codes far more than the previous monochrome or black and white codes.

Purposefully integrating Turquoise, Orange, Blue, Purple and Pink within its data pattern, the new QR Code boldly catches the eye and is representative of the latest Carnaby marketing campaign which also uses the same five block colours to identify specific attractions within the Carnaby area.

UK based QR Media Codes http://www.qrmediacodes.com is leading the way when it comes to branded QR codes and mobile web design.  QR Media Codes predict that branded or customized QR codes will soon become the norm for businesses and organisations over the next few years as they serve to differentiate and distinguish one company from another.
